Board Secretary
My husband and I have lived in Marine on St. Croix for more than 25 years. We have three adult children and seven grandchildren. Two of our three children attended Marine Elementary School (our oldest attended Scandia Elementary). The Marine School was the glue of the community, and through it we made life-long friends.
I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota and then attended William Mitchell College of Law (now Mitchell Hamline). I graduated cum laude in 1997. Since then, I have been representing individuals and unions in the labor and employment law arena. I am certified by the Minnesota Bar Association as a Labor and Employment Law Specialist. In 2020 I had the honor of being named one of the Minnesota Attorneys of the Year. I recently became a qualified neutral arbitrator under Rule 114 of the Minnesota Rules of General Practice.
I spend my free time with family and friends. I also love to read, hike, and travel; and I fool around with drawing and oil-painting.
